Best Enhancement Shaman PvP Talents
Enhancement Shaman only offers one unique build that is viable, with a few optional talents that can be selected for competitive PvP combat. Let’s look into those core talents chosen, and ones that are flexible based on your currently played composition.
This will be your default talents for Enhancement Shaman. As you may be confused by the selection of these talents, let’s look further into why these talents are chosen.
Make sure to place 31 talent points into the Enhancement talent tree before placing your talent points into other talent trees.
- Stormstrike applies a decent chunk of single target damage to your opponent, while also increasing the Critical Strike chance of your nature spells after being used.
- Elemental Devastation synergizes fairly well with Stormstrike, as this will increase the chance for your direct damaging spells to crit, such as Lightning Bolt and Earth Shock. This results in more value out of Flurry for increased Attack Speed, or with any melee attack ability for a short duration.
- Flurry increases your Attack Speed on your next couple auto attacks. This will also be applied to you after critting one of your abilities.
- Shamanistic Rage is your most valuable defensive ability, and with its short cooldown, Enhancements have a successful time surviving any direct swaps or burst windows. It’s important to note that you can use this ability while in Stun effects, making this more of a reactive cooldown.
- Maelstrom Weapon will be your primary generator for instant cast damage, healing, or control effects. Make sure to wait until reaching 5 stacks for your spells to always be instant cast.
- Feral Spirit will be one of your most valuable damaging cooldowns, while providing more of a micro Crowd Control effect with Bash from your wolves.

Flexible Enhancement Shaman PvP Talents
While there are not many adjustments that we can make for our build, there are a couple of flexible talents that you can swap around in your build depending on the composition that you are currently playing as. If you believe you will not be the kill target as your composition, and you want to add some extra damage to your toolkit, drop a talent point out of Toughness for an additional rank in Elemental Devastation.
Although this is not recommend a majority of the time due to Enhancement Shamans being the kill target into most compositions, this talent change can grant you a more consistent boost to your damage, especially with your Flurry procs, if needed.
