Offensive Macros

These macros will make your damage feel more streamlined, making it easier to apply spells on targets without having to swap target frames or press multiple binds at once to burst. Our first macro includes Storm, Earth, and Fire and has all modifiers attached to it to reduce bind space. Shift makes your minions attack your focus, control to apply it via mouseover, and alt if you ever feel the need to cancel them.

/cast [nomod] Storm, Earth, and Fire
/cast [mod:shift, target=focus] Storm, Earth, and Fire
/cast [mod:ctrl, target=mouseover] Storm, Earth, and Fire
/cancelaura [mod:alt] Storm, Earth, and fire

Next up is your typical burst macro, combining Tigereye Brew with any trinket or enchant applied to your character.

/cast tigereye brew
/cast Malevolent Gladiator's Badge of Conquest
/cast Malevolent Gladiator's Ironskin Gloves

Defensive Macros

Followed by our offensive macros are our defensive macros. Instead of focusing on bind space like our macros mentioned prior do, these provide quality of life improvements to how you use your defensive utility. First off we have a helpful macro for Zen Meditation, preventing you from accidentally using it twice and cancelling it.

/cast !zen meditation

Additionally we recommend this macro as well, as it removes the green reticle on the ground once this spell is used and automatically places Healing Sphere wherever your cursor is hovering over. Although cursor macros aren’t commonly suggested, this makes our method of recovery a lot easier especially as a melee.

/cast [@cursor] Healing Sphere

Miscellanous Macros

Lastly we have our miscellaneous macros. These don’t really fit the category of offense and defense, but rather some slight optimizations to include in order to make your gameplay more fluid. Starting off we have our cancelaura macro which cancels a few important spells, especially Rushing Jade Wind if you don’t want to break Crowd Control.

/cancelaura hand of protection
/cancelaura Storm, Earth and Fire
/cancelaura rushing jade wind

Another macro featured here isn’t impactful to your gameplay but rather makes swapping talents a lot easier as it drags whichever spell you choose on the same bind.

#showtooltip
/cast [talent:5/1] healing elixirs; [talent:5/2] dampen harm; [talent:5/3] diffuse magic

Lastly, this macro is necessary to min-max your mobility. This allows you to Roll and cancel your Roll midway once the bind is pressed again.

#showtooltip roll
/cast !roll
/cancelaura roll
