Restoration Druid Stat Priority and Breakpoints
Intellect > Haste (12.5 – 15%) > Resilience (3000) > Mastery > Spirit > Critical Strike
Prioritize Intellect as much as possible, while also reaching for a few breakpoints along the way. The talent, Balance of Power, will grant you the 4% Hit Rating, which is the soft cap for PvP, as well as the epic PvP cloak providing the necessary amount of Spell Penetration.
After making sure you have enough Hit Rating and Spell Penetration, aim for around 12.5% Haste. 12.5% Haste grants you an additional tick on both your Lifebloom and Rejuvenation. The breakpoints for an additional tick following the 12.5% breakpoints involve 15% Haste for Lifebloom and 37.5% for Rejuvenation, which is a massive jump. It’s important to make sure to reach 12.5% Haste, especially if you don’t have a Priest teammate granting you 5% Haste with Mind Quickening.
Next, make sure you have at least 3000 Resilience, followed by Mastery, Spirit, and Critical Strike. 3000 Resilience at minimum is enough for you to enter PvP and have a 30% damage reduction against all players within PvP combat.
In case you aren’t able to reach secondary stat breakpoints, use reforging on any gear with Spirit and convert to either Haste or Mastery, depending on your breakpoint needs. If you are below 12.5% Haste, focus on reforging Haste first, then Mastery.
