For Holy Paladin, there is only one build that you will be using for PvP combat, but offers some flexibility in the talents that have been already selected.
Best Holy Paladin PvP Talents
This will be your conventional 3v3 Talent Tree build for Holy Paladin. As you may be confused by the selection of these talents, let’s look further into why these talents are chosen.
Make sure to use 31 of your points into the Holy tree before you place points in additional specialization trees.
When looking at the top of our Holy tree, we will list the talents that serve the most value for this specialization.
Last Word empowers your primary spender, Word of Glory on low HP targets.
Denounce removes Critical Strike effects from enemy spells for a short duration after they have been applied with Exorcism can help sustain your allies, allowing them to push onto their opponents more frequently.
Divine Favor increases Spell Haste and Critical Strike effects by 20%.
Tower of Radiance offers more methods to generate Holy Power. This will assist you in increasing your output of Word of Glory, which will be your strongest primary direct heal on targets.
Aura Mastery strengthens your aura effect depending on the aura ability you are using. Most Paladins will be empowering their Concentration Aura, as this makes your character immune to interrupts and silence effects for a short duration. If you want to minimize the amount of incoming damage, use Aura Mastery on Devotion Aura for an increased damage reduction.
Enlightened Judgements converts half of your Spirit to Hit Rating, resulting in Holy Paladins not having to gear for Hit Rating when optimizing their character.
For the Protection and Retribution trees, we have a couple important talents chosen that will impact your performance as Holy Paladin.
Improved Hammer of Justice to reduce your cooldown of Hammer of Justice
Eternal Glory to increase your Word of Glory usage.
Crusade for Holy Shock healing and damage increase.
Down below, we will discuss the flexible PvP talents that you can use depending on your playstyle and the composition you are playing.

Flexible Holy Paladin PvP Talents
When using the standard build given, it’s important to identify talent points that can be swapped out for other talents that may be better suited for a particular composition, or just for preference. First, it’s important to look at Conviction, as this will increase your DPS and HPS when your non-periodic spell or ability crits. If you want to play more defensively, and not push in to use Exorcism on enemy players, then you will remove two talent points from Denounce, and place them into Conviction.
Also, this applies for Clarity of Purpose as well, which will enable your defensive playstyle by allowing you to cast Holy Light and Divine Light faster and more frequently throughout an arena match. In order to play this talent, you will drop two points in Blazing Light, which increases Exorcism damage, and place those points into Clarity of Purpose.
