Preservation Evoker Stat Priority

Versatility > Haste > Mastery > Critical Strike

Versatility will be our most important stat. You want to focus on getting as much of it as you can, up to at least 25%. This will happen automatically through PvP gearing, as most of the items you will end up using will have Versatility on them.

After Versatility, you’ll be focusing on Haste. This makes our HoT effects tick faster, reduces the global cooldown, increases our Essence regeneration, and helps us cast our empowered spells faster. Not to mention, our cooldown on Verdant Embrace is reduced depending on the amount of Haste we have, and our Chronowarden talents provide us with solid boost of this stat from some of our core abilities.

Then, you’ll be looking for some Mastery. This stat makes our throughput stronger, as it increases our healing on allies that have lower health than us.

Lastly, Critical Strike does not synergize with our toolkit, making it our weakest stat.

When it comes to trinkets, the offensive option is the Forged Gladiator’s Insignia of Alacrity. Using this trinket provides us with a static buff to our Haste, while consistently proccing some primary stat to make our healing and damage more powerful.

You will then need a Forged Gladiator’s Medallion to break out of CC every 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Best Preservation Evoker Embellishments

Item 1: Energy Redistribution Beacon on any crafted slot.
Item 2: Energy Redistribution Beacon on any crafted slot.

Alternative Embellishments:

Item 1: Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension on Algari Competitor’s Staff with Haste / Versatility
Item 2: Writhing Armor Banding on any crafted armor piece.

Although Energy Redistribution Beacon provides the most healing output in most cases, this becomes weaker if you are the primary target or face double caster rot comps. This makes Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension and Writhing Armor Banding more of a potential grab later in the season when conquest is uncapped, passively providing us with a minor boost to our secondary stats.

Core Gems: Cognitive Bloodstone + Masterful Emerald
Alternative Gem: Versatile Emerald

In The War Within, you will use a Vicious Jeweler’s Setting to add sockets to your Helmet, Neck, Bracers, Belt and Rings. Two sockets can be added to the Neck and Rings.

For your new unique PvP-specific gem, we highly recommend the Cognitive Bloodstone, which acts almost identical to the Precognition Embellishment from Dragonflight.

For most of our gem slots, we will mainly use Masterful Emerald to assist us with our healing throughput. If you want slightly more survivability added on to your character, you can opt for Versatile Emerald instead.
