What’s New for Outlaw Rogues in The War Within?
Outlaw Rogues have experienced slight change in their talent trees, predominantly in their Rogue tree. The most significant of which is the removal of Shadow Dance, which has been replaced with Without a Trace. This grants us an additional Vanish, which compensates for the removal of Shadow Dance for more Subterfuge uptime. Not to mention, we now become more difficult to pursue and kill for the opposing team.
We also receive some changes to our original Kyrian ability from Shadowlands, as we can pick up Supercharger and Force Induction to make our finishers relatively stronger after using Shiv. Instead of having to use our finisher on the correct Combo Point, we gain its benefits regardless of what Combo Point we use our finisher on.
Finally, we have the biggest change that all specs have received in The War Within, and that is Hero talents. We receive two we can select between, which are Trickster and Fatebound.
Outlaw Rogue Playstyle
The playstyle of Outlaw Rogue retains the same identity from Dragonflight. If you aren’t familiar with the Dragonflight playstyle of Outlaw Rogue, it is high maintenance and global intensive, meaning you’re constantly filling in globals to consistently dish pressure onto your opponents.
