Holy Priest Stat Priority
Mastery > Versatility > Haste > Critical Strike
Our main focus should be on Mastery. Mastery turns a percentage of our healing into a healing over time effect called Echo of Light on the target. The more Mastery we have, the stronger our hot becomes, and depending on the amount of Mastery we have, this can end up ranging to be one of your biggest heals in almost every matchup.
Beyond this stat, focus on adding Versatility, which will be obtained naturally by purchasing the current PvP gear. This also is well known as a necessity to PvP, making us stronger defensively and offensively.
After Versatility, we’ll be looking to add Haste into our gear. Although Haste is a bit lower priority than the other two stats, it is still valuable as it reduces the cooldown of our Prayer of Mending, the global cooldown, our casting speed, and makes our Renew tick faster on our team.
And Lastly, Critical Strike does not synergize well with our toolkit, meaning you want to avoid this at all costs.

In The War Within, you will use a Vicious Jeweler’s Setting to add sockets to your Helmet, Neck, Bracers, Belt and Rings. Two sockets can be added to the Neck and Rings.
With Mastery being your best secondary stat, you will want to both gem and enchant it wherever possible. For your new unique PvP-specific gem, we highly recommend the Cognitive Bloodstone, which acts almost identical to the Precognition Embellishment from Dragonflight.
For all gem slots, we will use Versatile Onyx. This will provide us a hefty amount of Mastery, while weaving in some Versatility for some extra tankiness.
