Table of Contents
Alliance
Gnome
For our most preferred race, we have Gnome. Comparative to all other races as this spec, Gnome provides the most consistent benefits. Before in Dragonflight, this race wasn’t considered as highly as it is now, and is primarily due to Bloodrage being removed as a potential pick in our selection of PvP talents. This would remove root effects on its use, with the drawback of losing 5% health, but with it gone our uptime is now considerably lower. By grabbing Escape Artist, we can somewhat compensate with this massive change.
Escape Artist Racial
Escape Artist gives you a physical root removal that is off the global cooldown. This gives us more uptime on our target, and is more of a necessity with Bloodrage out of the mix in our PvP talents.
Racial Passives
Arcane Resistance acts as a passive 1% damage reduction from any spell in the Arcane category, and Nimble Fingers provides a measly 1% increase to your Haste.
Dark Iron Dwarf
If you want to opt in for something different, we have Dark Iron Dwarf. What makes Dark Iron Dwarf a promising pick is their racial Fireblood, acting as an offensive and defensive tool when pressed.
Fireblood Racial
Fireblood grants you primary stat, and is increased depending on the amount of bleeds, poisons, diseases, curses, and magic spells applied on your character. Any effect that increases primary stat will also be removed off your character, making this crucial to use in scenarios where you would want to alter the current state of a match into your favor.
Human
For our last option as Alliance, we have Human. This race gives you another way of getting out of stuns, and can affect how you choose to gear your Fury Warrior.
Substitute Trinket
Will to Survive as a racial ability has similar effects to the current PvP trinket, but only removes stun effects from your character and is a 3 minute cooldown. You also have some flexibility using it, giving you the option to swap out your Medallion trinket for a trinket that provides more damage. If you choose to play with a PvP Medallion trinket as this race, you’ll be able to trinket out of stuns more often.
Horde
Orc
Another viable pick is Orc, passively granting us a reduction on any Stun effect that is applied to our character due to its most potent racial ability, Hardiness.
Hardiness Racial
Hardiness reduces the duration of all stuns on your character by 10%, which is nerfed by half in PvP combat, making you less likely of becoming a kill target simply by this racial alone. This will grant you more overall uptime on your spells in any matchup.
Blood Fury Racial
Blood Fury acts as a flat on-use buff to our primary stat, always scaling the best at the beginning of every expansion.
