Fury Warrior Stat Priority

Versatility (25%) > Mastery > Haste (10%) > Critical Strike

Versatility will be our most important stat. You want to focus on getting as much of it as you can, up to at least 25%. This will happen automatically through PvP gearing, as most of the items you will end up using will have Versatility on them.

Followed by Versatility, we recommend dumping most of your secondary stats in Mastery. This increases your damage on all of your class abilities when Enrage is active, as you’ll be receiving this buff through Bloodthirst, Rampage, and Onslaught to optimize your potential burst damage.

Beyond these two stats, you want to reach around 10% of Haste to make your rotation feel much more fluid. Don’t be afraid of sacrificing a bit of Mastery for this stat, as this reduces the global cooldown and increases Rage generation from auto attacks, assisting you with min-maxing your Rampage uptime.

Finally, our last stat is Critical Strike, and with this barely synergizing in our toolkit, this stat is typically avoided at all costs.

Trinkets

Trinket 1: Forged Gladiator’s Insignia of Alacrity
Trinket 2: Forged Gladiator’s Medallion or Forged Gladiator’s Badge of Ferocity if Human

When it comes to trinkets, we will want to equip Forged Gladiator’s Insignia of Alacrity. Not only does this provide us Haste, assisting us with reaching our Haste breakpoint in our stat priority, it has an extremely high proc chance, passively supplementing our overall damage.

You will then need a Forged Gladiator’s Medallion to break out of CC every 2 minutes.

An alternative trinket from Forged Gladiator’s Insignia of Alacrity is Forged Gladiator’s Emblem, as this will assist us with surviving massive burst windows. Using this also scales nicely with Rallying Cry, slightly increasing its value.

If you choose to play Human as a Fury Warrior, you have the option to drop the Forged Gladiator’s Medallion for Forged Gladiator’s Badge of Ferocity. This is due to Human having access to Will to Survive for breaking out of crowd control. However, the Medallion remains to be a solid pick for Human into teams where you want more frequent access to a CC removal, as you will be able to rotate through the Forged Gladiator’s Medallion and Will to Survive every 90 seconds.

Item 1: Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension on Algari Competitor’s Greatsword with Versatility / Mastery
Item 2: Writhing Armor Banding on any crafted armor piece.

Alternative Embellishments:

x2 Elemental Focusing Lens on any crafted slot.

The Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension and Writhing Armor Banding combination provides us with a constant flow of secondary stats, and is quite valuable when we proc Versatility since our spec is relatively squishy in the current meta.

Alternatively, if you would rather opt for our conquest weapon instead of a crafted one, we recommend using the Elemental Focusing Lens embellishment. This provides us with a solid amount of consistent damage, and is only effective as long as you have at least 1 gem equipped.

This embellishment occasionally deals damage from a specific school of magic based on the gem you equip. Keep in mind that the damage from this embellishment can’t be buffed by cooldowns, talents, or any damage bonuses from school types.

Best Fury Warrior Gems

Core Gems: Enduring Bloodstone + Masterful Sapphire

In The War Within, you will use a Vicious Jeweler’s Setting to add sockets to your Helmet, Neck, Bracers, Belt and Rings. Two sockets can be added to the Neck and Rings.

As Versatility and Mastery are your best secondary stats, you will want to both gem and enchant it wherever possible. Enduring Bloodstone will be our newly introduced PvP gem that can only be attributed once onto your character’s gem slots. This will give you some additional damage reduction when affected by Crowd Control.

For all gem slots, we will use Masterful Sapphire. This will provide us a hefty amount of Versatility, compensating for our loss of this stat from our crafted pieces, while weaving in some Mastery as a minor boost to our stat priority.
