Table of Contents
Feral Druid Stat Priority
Mastery > Versatility (25%) > Haste > Critical Strike
Our main focus should be on Mastery. The more we have of this stat, the more damage we can deliver from our bleeds and finishers, enhancing your cleave and burst damage mainly with Feral Frenzy and Ferocious Bite.
Beyond this stat, we need to incorporate a good amount of Versatility, up to 25%. This stat is pretty much a no-brainer; we get targeted almost every game, and it’s an excellent stat for PvP overall.
After Versatility, we want to apply some Haste on our character. This secondary stat increases our Energy regeneration and bleed ticks. What really makes this stat worthwhile is that it reduces our cast time on spells outside of Cat Form, and if we apply a decent amount to our character, we can land Cyclones off some short-lasting stuns without any gaps.
Lastly, we have Critical Strike, and although isn’t as valuable to our other secondary stats, this stat makes our combo point generation easier with Primal Fury, and synergizes quite well with our tier set to buff Primal Wrath, Ferocious Bite, or Rampant Ferocity up to 45% additional damage when one of our combo-point generator spells crits.

Trinkets
- Trinket 1: Forged Gladiator’s Insignia of Alacrity
- Trinket 2: Forged Gladiator’s Medallion
When it comes to trinkets, we will be selecting Forged Gladiator’s Insignia of Alacrity. It has an extremely high proc chance, and since our sustain damage is even higher than before, it’s the best option.
You will then need a Forged Gladiator’s Medallion to break out of CC every 2 minutes.
An alternative trinket from Forged Gladiator’s Insignia of Alacrity is Forged Gladiator’s Emblem, as this will assist us with surviving massive burst windows, especially when used with Frenzied Regeneration to increase its overall healing.

Best Feral Druid Embellishments
- Item 1: Elemental Focusing Lens on any crafted armor piece.
- Item 2: Elemental Focusing Lens on any crafted armor piece.
The Elemental Focusing Lens embellishment provides us with the most consistent throughput, and is only effective as long as you have at least 1 gem equipped.
This embellishment occasionally deals damage from a specific school of magic based on the gem you equip. Keep in mind that the damage from this embellishment can’t be buffed by cooldowns, talents, or any damage bonuses from school types.
Best Feral Druid Gems
Core Gems: Cognitive Bloodstone + Versatile Onyx
In The War Within, you will use a Vicious Jeweler’s Setting to add sockets to your Helmet, Neck, Bracers, Belt and Rings. Two sockets can be added to the Neck and Rings.
For your new unique PvP-specific gem, we highly recommend the Cognitive Bloodstone, which acts almost identical to the Precognition Embellishment from Dragonflight, to help guarantee Cyclone casts.
As for the rest of your gem slots, choose Versatile Onyx as the extra Mastery optimizes our throughput coming out of our finishers and bleed effects. We also become slightly tankier in the process with it including a minor amount of Versatility.
Best Feral Druid Enchants
Cloak: Enchant Cloak – Chant of Burrowing Rapidity
Chest: Enchant Chest – Stormrider’s Agility
Bracers: Enchant Bracer – Chant of Armored Speed
Legs: Stormbound Armor Kit
Boots: Enchant Boots – Scout’s March
Rings: Enchant Ring – Radiant Mastery
Weapon: Enchant Weapon – Authority of Radiant Power
