Arms Warrior Stat Priority

Versatility > Haste > Mastery > Critical Strike

Versatility will be our most important stat. You want to focus on getting as much of it as you can, up to at least 30%. This will happen automatically through PvP gearing, as most of the items you will end up using will have Versatility on them.

Next up we have Haste, which provides us faster rage regeneration by increasing our auto attacks, reduces the global cooldown and the cooldown of our Mortal Strike for more Mortal Wounds uptime, as well as faster ticks coming out of our bleed effects.

After maximizing these two stats, look to include some Mastery on our character. This applies a bleed to our target from some of our core damaging abilities, and gives us a damage boost on the affected target that scales based on the amount of Mastery we have.

Lastly, we have Critical Strike. Although this stat synergizes quite nicely with Opportunist in the Slayer tree, it’s quite marginal in comparison to our previously mentioned secondary stats.

When it comes to trinkets, we will want to equip Prized Gladiator’s Insignia of Alacrity. Not only does this provide Haste to better support our stat priority, it has an extremely high proc chance, passively supplementing our overall damage.

You will then need a Prized Gladiator’s Medallion to break out of CC every 2 minutes.

An alternative trinket from Prized Gladiator’s Insignia of Alacrity is Prized Gladiator’s Emblem, as this will assist us with surviving massive burst windows.

If you choose to play Human as an Arms Warrior, you have the option to drop the Prized Gladiator’s Medallion for Prized Gladiator’s Badge of Ferocity. This is due to Human having access to Will to Survive for breaking out of crowd control. However, the Medallion remains to be a solid pick for Human into teams where you want more frequent access to a CC removal, as you will be able to rotate through the Prized Gladiator’s Medallion and Will to Survive every 90 seconds.

Best Arms Warrior Embellishments

Item 1: Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension on Algari Competitor’s Greatsword with Versatility / Haste
Item 2: Writhing Armor Banding on any armor piece.

Alternative Embellishments:

x2 Elemental Focusing Lens on any crafted slot.

The Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension and Writhing Armor Banding combination provides us with a constant flow of secondary stats, and is quite valuable when we proc Versatility since our spec is relatively squishy in the current meta.

Alternatively, if you would rather opt for our conquest weapon instead of a crafted one, we recommend using the Elemental Focusing Lens embellishment. This provides us with a solid amount of consistent damage, and is only effective as long as you have at least 1 gem equipped.

This embellishment occasionally deals damage from a specific school of magic based on the gem you equip. Keep in mind that the damage from this embellishment can’t be buffed by cooldowns, talents, or any damage bonuses from school types.

Best Arms Warrior Gems

Core Gems: Enduring Bloodstone + Quick Sapphire
Alternative Gems: Masterful Sapphire

In The War Within, you will use a Vicious Jeweler’s Setting to add sockets to your Helmet, Neck, Bracers, Belt and Rings. Two sockets can be added to the Neck and Rings.

As Versatility and Haste are your best secondary stats, you will want to both gem and enchant it wherever possible. Enduring Bloodstone will be our newly introduced PvP gem that can only be attributed once on your character’s gem slots. This will give you some additional damage reduction when affected by Crowd Control.

For all gem slots, we will use Quick Sapphire or Masterful Sapphire depending on preference. This will provide us a hefty amount of Versatility, while weaving in some Haste or Mastery, depending on the gem you select, as a minor boost to our stat priority.
