Focus and Arena Macros
These macros follow the same idea as party macros and eliminate the need to manually change targets every time. They are very useful for CC and interrupts. While focus macros are easier to get used to and could be sufficient in most cases, arena macros are a lot more versatile as they allow you to interact with literally any opponent in the game at any point. The downside of making arena macros is the number of binds you will have to allocate. Not to mention, they are a lot more difficult to get used to. You could start by using focus macros for most of your abilities and arena macros for some of the most important CC, and expand the more you get used to it. As a Hunter, you should have such macros for important spells like Concussive Shot, Counter Shot, Intimidation, Tranquilizing Shot and Scatter Shot.

Cursor Macros
There are a few abilities that require you to manually select the location you want to case them at. In case of Freezing Trap, you may want to eliminate this extra step to make your globals feel much smoother. If you add “@cursor” condition, the ability will automatically be cast at your cursor’s location, making your rotation feel a bit more streamlined.

Party and Mouseover Macros
Another type of macro that is essential to your success are party1 and party2 macros. You have some important utility you may need to use on your teammates at the right time. Namely, Roar of Sacrifice and Master’s Call, which are crucial for your team, so you should definitely make these macros for those.
And in cases where binds may be a concerning issue, one way to make this requirement slightly easier is with mouseover macros. Abilities are used based on which target you hover over, making it more convenient in cases where party 1 and 2 macros may seem overwhelming.

Additional Tips
There are also a few other types of macros you could find useful. This macro allows you to use Kill Command while in stealth. This can be a good idea when you are sitting in Camouflage when trying to avoid Crowd Control, or to deny a kill attempt.
/cast kill command /stopmacro [nostealth] /stopattack
To make sure you can activate Aspect of the Turtle without any problems, we strongly suggest using the first macro listed here. Our second macro is also based on Aspect of the Turtle, but it’s designed for situations where you want to come out early to maintain your uptime or to execute your target with Kill Shot.
